VIP Simulator Visits

The Flight Operations Customer First Team provides a unique customer focused service, offering specialised flight simulator experiences under the guidance of a hand picked team of British Airways pilots.  Corporate customers can enjoy the thrill of flying one of British Airways big jets in a choice of simulators, an unforgettable experience which will help build customer loyalty and brand distinction.

Guests have the opportunity to fly in one of our multimillion pound full-motion simulators, choose from the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Airbus 320 or Boeing 777 simulators.  These are the same simulators our pilots use to revalidate their qualifications, or for general practise and training.

Your British Airways pilot will provide in seat instruction on ‘how to fly’ and will talk you through every aspect of flying your jet, from take off to landing.   

The full motion simulators, with 6 degrees of movement, are very impressive and so real your guest will think they are in the actual aircraft. The simulators perfectly replicate the feeling of flight in every sense, from bumps on the runway, the feeling of acceleration at take-off to G forces in tight turns.  Guests will be flying a fully operational professional level simulator used to train airline pilots and guests will be guided by a fully qualified commercial pilot for a unique and exclusive experience at Heathrow HQ!

Overview:

  • This facility is open to BA corporate customers only.
  • Your booking will involve a professional full motion simulator with instruction from a hand picked and experienced British Airways Pilot host.
  • Your Pilot host will provide a full pre-flight briefing and tailor the experience to your guest's needs.
  • No previous flying experience is required.
  • Up to 2 extra guests can come into the simulator to watch your guest fly.
  • The suggested experience time is 90-120 mins, but more can be booked as required. 
  • A large variety of airports are available to fly from and differing times of day and weather conditions including fog, turbulence or strong winds can be simulated.
  • Your guest will be in the Captains seat for the entire experience.
  • The experience is based in a full motion flight simulator on multiple hydraulic jacks with wrap around visual displays to create an impressive experience.
  • Professional pilots use these exact same simulators to qualify and maintain their professional standards.
  • Option of 787 Dreamliner, Airbus 320, Boeing 777. All based at the British Airways Flight Training centre, situated close to London Heathrow. Car parking is available, the nearest underground station is Hatton Cross.
  • Due to security restrictions, the minimum age is 14. Additionally, the simulators are not fully accessible.  Please contact us to discuss any special requirements. 
  • A full and detailed event experience guide will be provided for your guest, including FAQ, directions and Visitor passes.

Simulator time is 90mins, this can be extended if needed for an additional cost.

Please note the min age is 14 and a maximum of 3 guests can be accommodated in most full motion simulators.  Joining instructions for you and your guest will be provided. 

Please note VIP Simulator Visits are for BA Corporate clients only and not open to members of the public or BA employees at this point.  SPOs can use the F&F scheme.
